LGSA House

Welcome to the House League Home Page!

The House League is the recreational side of LGSA. The House League is comprised of five divisions with girls ranging in age from Pre-K to High School Senior.  The goal of each division is to provide instruction, and develop individual skills in a fun, casual atmosphere.

Volunteer Requirement

LGSA is a volunteer ran organization and as such we rely on our members to keep everything running.  There is a volunteer requirement of 4 hours per family, per season.  Families may opt out of their volunteer requirement at the time of player registration for a fee.

To volunteer, select "DIBS" at the top of the page and select any available volunteer assignment.

Equipment

Please note that LGSA will have bats and helmets available for use.  Each player will be responsible for bringing their own glove and face shield (peanuts/rookies exempt).

Thorguard

The Village of Libertyville Thorguard lighting detection system is located on the roof of the bathroom building at Nicholas Dowden park.

If the Thorguard goes off once during a practice or game, it's an automatic half hour pause of activities.  Please get all players to safety in a vehicle.  It's up to the coaches and umpires if the practice/game will be delayed or cancelled.

Once you hear three blasts, it's safe to return to the field.  Please note that if you see the lights blinking on the Thorguard at any time, we are still under a lightning pause.

Thank you for keeping our players safe!
